Kumble’s Internal Disciplinary Committee Suspends Five Lawyers From Firm

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following lawyers have been suspended from the firm pending investigation into an allegation of moral turpitude, dishonesty, corruption, fraud, exceeding service, non-appearance in court and violation of the ethics of the profession.

The following suspended lawyers are:

  • Shannon Holloway – Colorado, U.S

  • Saul Vasquez – Sao Paulo, Brazil

  • Mitchell Gregory – London, U.K

  • Raheem Kasim – Accra, Ghana

  • Gilbert Clayton – Seoul, South Korea

Shannon Holloway

Mrs. Shannon Holloway has been suspended from practice after the disciplinary committee found her guilty for her non-appearance in court for 4 sessions on a case. She was charged with two charges of unprofessional conduct, and one charge of unsatisfactory conduct. She is suspended for 30 days.

Saul Vasquez

Mr. Saul Vasquez is suspended from practice for two months after authorizing fraudulent documents. The Kumble DC found Saul had been negligent and incompetent to such a degree as to reflect on fitness to practice or as to bring his profession into disrepute. He is being charged with one charge of professional misconduct, four charges of unprofessional conduct, one charge of unsatisfactory conduct, and one charge of conduct unbecoming a practitioner.

Raheem Kasim

Mr. Raheem Kasim has been suspended from practice pending a disciplinary investigation of his misconduct from December, 2016 to May, 2017. He is under investigation for failing to comply with Rule 4 and Rule 10(a) of the Service Rules. He is being charged with six charges of professional misconduct, four charges of unprofessional conduct, one charge of unsatisfactory conduct, and one charge of conduct unbecoming a practitioner. He is suspended until further notice.

Gilbert Clayton

Mr. Gilbert Clayton has been suspended from practice pending a disciplinary investigation for failing to complete a minimum of 15 hours of continuing legal education, including two hours of legal ethics, in 2016 calendar year. He was charged with one charge of professional misconduct. He is suspended for 30 days.
